NATASHA MARTIN
PERCUSSIVE DANCE ARTIST, DANCE ANTHROPOLOGIST, CULTURAL MANAGER
Natasha uses movement to approach music and promotes intercultural dialogue through performing arts. She specialises in the areas of tap dance, body music and body percussion and is a learner and enthusiast of flamenco and bharatanatyam.
She holds an MA in dance anthropology and ethnochoreology and is an advocate for racial equality in Greece. Projects of hers in these directions are MoAM-Moving Around Music, Athens Tap Jam, Body Music Studygroup, and her active role at Anasa Cultural Center and the International Body Music Festival.
She has been a member of PLAYGROUND for the arts since its founding!
