Στον 1ο κύκλο, δουλεύουμε πάνω στην συνεργασία της Γιώτας με την Sumru Ağıryürüyen, για το 6o International Body Music Festival [2013]. Έναν διάλογο μεταξύ μουσικής & χορού που συνδυάζει στοιχεία φλαμένκο, body percussion και σύγχρονου χορού, πάνω σε παραδοσιακή μουσική από την Τουρκία.

In the 1st cycle, we get inspired by Yiota's collaboration with Sumru Ağıryürüyen, for the 6th International Body Music Festival [2013]. A dialogue between music & dance that combines elements of flamenco, body percussion and contemporary dance, on traditional music from Turkey.

ABOUT YIOTA PEKLARI
Yiota Peklari is a dancer and choreographer with an extremely diverse vocabulary that explores the acoustic dimension of the moving body. She is a graduate of the Professional Dance School of Rallou Manou, creator of the international Coetáni Experimental Flamenco Festival and co-founder of the cultural organisation PLAYGROUND for the arts.
Her relationship with flamenco is dialectical and has often led her, beyond the traditional, to experimental paths. As a dance teacher, her broad field of study (classical and contemporary dance, flamenco and body music) and her long experience, combined with her endless curiosity and creativity, pushed her to create her own teaching methods, leading developments in the field of flamenco in Greece.
